There is no signal input when I use the old cable now. By the way, I did try connecting the monitor to another laptop (Dell Inspiron), I was able to replicate all the aforementioned issues.I tried the old cable and it worked for couple days without the blue tinge before conking out completely. This is my work computer so I doubt I can make changes to GPU drivers or BIOS update. Are you working with Windows 10, by any chance?Revert to your previous cable and see if that resolves the issue, if it is resolved(albeit with the blue tinge) then the cable you purchased was faulty.I am using Dell Latitude 7480 with Windows 8. On another note, make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop.
